The Komatsu WA100M-8 compact wheel loader launched recently in Europe comes with an EU Stage IV engine and Komatsu’s selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, a new ergonomic design, enhanced standard specifications and an array of new options.
The WA100M‐8 has an operating weight of 7,200kg, and its EU Stage IV Komatsu SAA4D94LE-3 engine provides 70 kW (94 HP) net. The after‐treatment system includes an integrated Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. NOx emissions are reduced by 80% using AdBlue, protecting the operator and bystanders and making the WA100M-8 suitable for indoor applications.
Other new features include a new 1.3m3 bucket, higher engine power, higher travel speed (40km/h), 4th hydraulic circuit (option) with proportional control, 3rd and 4th hydraulic circuit (option) at machine rear, EU Stage IV emissions compliant with DPF, 6000-hr DPF cleaning interval (every 10 years), interior design with new ergonomic controls, new colour high-resolution TFT-LCD widescreen monitor panel with 13 built-in languages, high flow (option), and height adjustable trailer hitches (option).
Sebastian Zienau, product manager, Komatsu Europe, said: “The WA100M-8 is built on the strong base of the WA100M-7. And with its many new features and options it opens up a whole new range of versatility.”
