UAE-based Al Faris Equipment Rentals, one of the largest Liebherr customers in the world with around 400 Liebherr cranes in its fleet, has placed an order for 25 Liebherr mobile cranes.
The new order equates to a total value of around $21.98m. It includes five LTM 1070-4.2, two LTM 1130-5.1, six LTM 1160-5.2, four LRT 1090-2.1 and eight LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain cranes.
Liebherr has added the rough-terrain cranes as a new series to its product portfolio with the 90-t LRT 1090-2.1 and 100-t LRT 1100-2.1, which were unveiled in 2017.
They include the variobase variable support base as standard, which enables each individual crane support to be extended to an arbitrary length.
