Euro Auctions aims to attract more Middle East buyers seeking to replenish stocks and acquire new equipment at its next Dubai auction to be held on 9 December 2019.
The December auction will offer a consignment of unused 20t excavators and skid-steer loaders among other equipment categories at the Euro Actions’ 91,000m² permanent site in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The Euro Auctions September 2019 sale saw more than 40% of all bidding transacted via the internet from buyers outside the Middle East. With an expanding number of vendors, new bidder registrations are increasing significantly, sale on sale, with up to by 30% of first time bidders buying at each sale.
Richard Sweatt, territory manager, Euro Auctions Middle East, says: “We are seeing approximately 65% of all lots sold at the Euro Auctions sale in Dubai, being retained in the Middle East. Such is the appetite for equipment for use on emerging projects within the region. Whilst buyers at each sale predominantly come from the Middle East, we are seeing strong interest from loyal Euro Auctions customers from Europe, with the UK, Netherlands and Spain. All our customers, both buyers and consignors, appreciate what we have achieved in the region and are backing us to continue to deliver a viable and effective solution for buying and disposing of their equipment.”
