Hyundai Glovis, the logistics unit of South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Group, has been awarded a $500m deal by Qatar Primary Materials Company.Â
The South Korean firm will ship 50 million tonnes of aggregates, comprising mostly pebble and sand, from UAE to Oman, and to a pier located in the southern part of Qatar, under the deal.Â
Contract duration spans January 2016 to December 2020.Â
Hyundai Glovis will deploy 20 Panamax bulk carrier ships for the operation, Yonhap News Agency reported. Â
