Materials Handling Middle East 2015 has sold out of exhibition space.
The UAE-located materials handling show, which will be at Dubai World Trade Centre in September, has stated multibillion-dollar investments in GCC infrastructure projects have served to stimulate demand.
Exhibition organisers pointed out that the Gulf region awarded $86bn of infrastructure projects in 2014, 78% higher than the 2013 figure.
Commenting on the sold-out show, Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of show organiser Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: “The continued growth in the sector can not only be attributed to the continued infrastructural development across the region, but also to increasing demand for a streamlined supply chain and logistical framework from a growing number of regional businesses.”
Headline companies returning to the biennial three-day event will include Kanoo Group, Al Futtaim Motors, FAMCO, and GENAVCO, according to Messe Frankfurt.
This year’s event will be the eighth edition of Materials Handling Middle East. The show, which will take place from 14-16 September, will feature more than 150 brands from 17 countries.
