Western Auto Company has opened a 2,320m2 warehousing facility in Dammam to handle the centralised distribution of spare parts for brands including Ashok Leyland, CMC, FOTON and KB Autotech.
The facility’s warehouse advanced management system encompasses stock management – with an electronic parts catalogue and a satellite link to principals to enable automated order placement to maintain parts availability.
Western Auto has spent some $2m to ensure the uninterrupted supply of its spare parts across the Kingdom as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its customer experience and brand positioning.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mohammed Khurshid Al Buhmail, chairman of the Arja Al Khaleej Trading Group, A.J. Kamal, CEO of Western Auto Company and S.A.S. Sadakkathulla, resident director of Western Auto Company for Dammam.
The facility is located near the Abdullah Faud Auction yard and opposite in the Naft fuel station, Murabba, Dammam.
