Al Habtoor Motors has introduced a selection of medium- and heavy-duty Mitsubishi Fuso trucks in the UAE.
The FA, FI, FJ, and FZ series models, which were unveiled during Al Habtoor’s ‘Let’s Break the Ice’ event at Ski Dubai, complete Mitsubishi Fuso’s rigid and tractor lines.
The manufacturer’s rigid-frame truck offering for the UAE now encompasses three-tonne to 18-tonne models, whilst its tractor heads boast gross combination weights (GCW) ranging from 40 tonnes to 49 tonnes.
Commenting on the launch, Karl Hamer, managing director of Al Habtoor Motors, said: “Fuso has always focused on the needs of the customer, and here in the UAE, the Fuso range has already proved its reliability and profitability in the various sectors.
“With the all-new, robust, fuel efficient, rugged Fuso range, customers will now have a wider choice of quality vehicles for specialist roles, with significantly lower operating costs. Backed by Al Habtoor Motors’ efficient customer service support, it’s a win-win situation for our customers,” he added.
Al Habtoor Motors, Mitsubishi Fuso’s authorised UAE distributor, stated that the latest Mitsubishi Fuso models will enhance its product presence in the Emirates, and help to cater to “increased demand for heavy-duty trucks for special applications”.
The new series of vehicles that were unveiled at the event included Mitsubishi Fuso’s FZ tractor head, FA medium-duty truck chassis, FJ heavy-duty tipper, and FJ heavy-duty truck.
Roland Schneider, CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA region, said: “Our all-new Fuso trucks have already gained a great reputation in other markets, thanks to their robustness and fuel efficiency. Until now, the UAE has been a strong market for Fuso, and I am convinced that the new expanded range will add more choices for our customers.
“The market can see Fuso trucks donning new roles in the UAE’s highly-versatile sectors; and with the proven support of Al Habtoor Motors, the new range can ultimately help us to enhance our market share,” he concluded.
