Al Naboodah Group Enterprises (ANGE) kickstarted a week-long employee engagement initiative, named Sustainability Week
It’s aimed at creating awareness on the company’s most important sustainability topics.  Â
The event was formally inaugurated by Abdullah Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah, chairman of Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Holding who was the first to sign group-wide pledge, asserting his commitment to sustainability before inviting employees to participate.Â
In its second year, ANGE’s Sustainability Week is a major fixture in the group’s annual sustainability roadmap.
This year’s activities are themed around five key topics: employee health and safety, learning and development, supply chain, customer satisfaction and employee welfare.
Every day, ANGE employees will have the opportunity to participate in various sustainability-led activities, ranging from workshops, health checks, job-swaps, awareness sessions by external partners such as the EWS-WWF and a visit to the Al Ain Oases date plantations, a UNECSO World Heritage Site.
