An international band of bidders were out at force at WWA earlier this week helping to raise the total value of the sale to $15.6 million.
With a plant hire company wanting to dispose of late model items before the end of the year, WWA said the one-day auction pulled bidders from Australia, Russia and Saudi Arabia, among other countries.
Keith Lupton, VP – regional sales, described the atmosphere as “frantic” and that lots were attracting “high prices”.
“We had a great sale,” said Lupton. “We really had a praise-filled day with both buyers and the sellers extremely happy.”
