Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery (SDLG) has celebrated two important milestones: first, selling its first G9220 grader into the Sultanate of Oman, and secondly, selling its 100th grader unit in the EMEA region.
The G9220 was delivered to contractor Sunshine International by SDLG dealer General Engineering Services (Genserv) and has already been set to work carrying out road maintenance and repairs.
“SDLG graders are well-designed machines that offer strong long-term performance,” explained Arun Pandey, MD of Sunshine International. “Coupled with its competitive price, the G9220 is an excellent addition to our company’s fleet.”
With an operating weight of 16,500kg, the G9220 has a 164kW Dalian Deutz engine that features a ZF power shift transmission with three distinct power curve settings that ensure a smooth grade and reduced fuel consumption.
Pandey added: “The G9220 is well-balanced and has good traction, which gives operators a lot of confidence when using the machine. Overall, Sunshine International is very pleased with this latest investment.”
SDLG’s Machine Blade Control System (MBCS) system on the unit is meanwhile controlled by hydraulic mechanical levers in the cab, allowing the operator to swing the blade himself if required.
Jan-Erik Eriksson, SDLG business manager for the Middle East, commented: “This sale is a significant milestone for SDLG and represents exciting growth in Oman and the surrounding regions.
“SDLG’s future growth in this region will depend on our continued development in the value segment, as well as maintained production of reliable, robust machines.”
