Putzmeister manufactures machines for pumping, distributing and placing concrete, mortar and high density solids, and for preparing, temporarily storing, processing and transporting these materials. The company specialises in the handling of different materials like concrete or mortar and in the conveying of a variety of solids like sewage sludge, coal sludge or mining tailings.
Putzmeister Middle East was established in 2008 in the UAE. Currently, the company has six dealers in the GCC. This year, Putzmeister appointed Al Ahlia Heavy Vehicles Selling & Import Co., part of Ali Alghanim & Sons Group, as a new dealer for Putzmeister Concrete Pumps in Kuwait.
Putzmeister recently launched the 51-5 truck-mounted concrete pump for applications such as concrete pumping for multi-storey buildings and large foundations, enabled by a flexible TRDI support and compact five-arm placing boom with RZ folding. A new feature of the pump is the Ergonic 2.0 control system, which manages all functions of pumps, mixers, placing booms and support. Saudi Arabia based Abdulla Abdeen Ready Mix Concrete Establishment placed an order for the 51-5 concrete pump at the bauma 2019 expo.
