Case Construction Equipment and its local dealer Al Shirawi Enterprises have launched the Case 570T in the UAE – after two years of sales in other Gulf market – over the course of a two-day event in Dubai addressing both existing clients and potential customers.

The Case 570T backhoe loader wields 86 HP of gross engine power, a loader lifting capacity of 3.7 tonnes, a reach of 5.58m with its dipper in the extendahoe version and digging and breakout forces of 4,300kgf and 5,630kgf on its dipper and bucket respectively.

As an entry-level model, the backhoe model is positioned at a lower price point below the Case 580T, which is already well known and widely used in the region, but which comes at a higher price point than the entry-level models of some other brands.

The 570T itself has already proved popular in the Gulf region, as Zane Barnard, construction product specialist at CNH Industrial Dubai, highlights: “We’ve sold about 600 of these in Saudi Arabia. They loved it there with the large cab and horsepower output and the reliability behind it.”

At the heart of the 570T is a fuel-efficient FPT Industrial S8000 engine – a series that is already well-known in Middle East markets and of which more than 3,000,000 units have been manufactured.

The turbocharged, four-cylinder engine is equipped with air-to-air aftercooler system that optimises the air induction for benefits in both efficiency and fuel consumption.

“It’s robust, it’s reliable and it’s more than enough horsepower for that machine,” explains Barnard, and as for servicing, he notes: “In the UAE, Al Shirawi is excellent – they have a massive facility over here. We haven’t had a failure so far on engines.

“With the [CNH Industrial] office doubling in size we’ve got a service manager in place and we’ve got a service area manager who report directly to the UK – so all technical issues and all service issues get handled quite quickly.”

Combined with a Power Shuttle transmission, which provides four speeds forward and reverse, the 570T delivers up to 402 Nm of torque at just 1,300 RPM and has the power and torque to get the job done quickly and efficiently.

The S-shaped boom arm of the backhoe has meanwhile been designed for optimal strength and durability, with a heavy-duty structure and thick, multi-plate fabrications, castings and forgings which in the most stressed points to effectively distribute the operational forces over a wide area.

In the region the 570T is also being delivered with an additional seventh hydraulic spool as standard to give operators the option of equipping a comprehensive range of attachments, including hydraulic breakers, augers and brooms.

The hydraulic circuit also delivers a high oil flow up to 123 litres per minute and gives all the power needed to handle any attachment.

The 570T backhoe loader also features what Case claims is the largest cab in the industry, capable of seating four people and with wide door openings for ease of entry and egress and improved air ventilation.
