Link-Belt Cranes has five distributors in the GCC, including Boodai Trading Company which was appointed in 2019 as the company’s distributor in Kuwait.
New products launched during 2019-20 include the 100|RT and 120|RT rough terrain cranes and 175|AT all terrain crane. Link-Belt also expanded its SmartFly technology across multiple product lines including rough terrain and all terrain cranes.
In light of Covid-19 restrictions, Link-Belt Cranes announced that all its Middle East training and CSR activities for the remainder of 2020 will be conducted remotely via video conferencing.
Roy Burger, manager-international sales, Link-Belt Cranes, says: “Current spending in the Middle East for 2020 will likely be for health and safety. Many other projects remain on hold until oil prices rebound for future investments. Growth will improve primarily with rough terrain cranes in the 50 – 145 mt ton class. Link-Belt offers a diversified product lineup in this class, particularly with the recent introductions of the 90-mt 100|RT and 110-mt 120|RT.”
