Ford Trucks has a Middle East distribution network that spans six GCC countries and Iraq. In Q3 2019, Ford Trucks introduced the F-MAX 4×2 Euro5 Tractor in the Middle East.
The manufacture aims to set up business in Jordan in 2020.
Ford Trucks estimates that the heavy commercial market will see 25-30% fall in demand; however, the strong dynamics of the Middle East region could help the market recover in 2021.
Bahattin Topcu, managing director-Middle East & Africa, Ford Trucks, says: “These are challenging times, as a brand we strongly believe, even though the market size is shrinking we are optimistic and confident to chase our goals and achieve them which we had set for ourselves at the beginning of the year. We as Ford Trucks will be increasing our share and sales even in this year’s contracting industry.
“Ford Trucks has taken all precautions in their workshops and showrooms to prevent customers and employees. Besides, vehicle warranties were extended 3 months to support customers due to low business during the Covid-19 period.”
