Terex Middle East has appointed M.H. Al Mahroos Trading Est., as the first distributor and fully authorised service provider for its Genie branded product in the UAE.
Al Mahroos has responsibility for in Dubai and the other Northern Emirates, where it will initially be serving all of its customers from its facility in the Al Quoz Industrial Area of Dubai, with more facilities in the months to come.
Sharbel Kordahi, MD for Terex Middle East, noted: “With its experience in Genie products and the local market, Al Mahroos has precisely the right profile to support Genie customers.
“It has the technically skilled personnel to respond rapidly and efficiently to owners of Genie fleets in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.”
Al Mahroos is now providing everything from spare parts, maintenance and training to in-the-field support, as well as a full range of rental fleet management solutions.

Al Mahroos customers will also be able to avail of Terex’s Genie Service Solutions (GSS) planned maintenance packages as one of its options for aftermarket service.
GSS includes regular 30-day in-service checks, as well as six monthly or annual service visits, and is prompted by a system of advisory notices that are automatically handled by the Genie service team.
One existing Genie customer that has opted into GSS, saw a 25% reduction in its maintenance costs with the package, including the related economy of 40 resource hours per machine over the course of a year.
