Middle East Concrete and PMV Live 2013 is ready to provide a platform for the industry to showcase the latest innovations and solutions.
The event is taking place from 25-28 November at Dubai World Trade Centre and will run alongside the Middle East’s largest event for the building and construction industry, the Big 5.
“We are anticipating a number of new products to be showcased during the event,” said Nathan Waugh, event director, Middle East Concrete and PMV Live. “With such significant opportunity across the GCC’s infrastructure and transport-based construction, particularly with mega projects such as the GCC railway, there is a real sense of optimism and business expectations as companies plan for 2014 and beyond. We expect to see some of this business transpire during the event next week.”
Now in its third year, PMV Live 2013 is expected to be significantly larger than its previous incarnation.
With more than 350 exhibitors from 25 countries, including MAN Trucks, Grace Construction Materials, Fosroc and Al Wasit Machinery, the event will provide indoor and outdoor space for companies to present their products – including live demonstrations and educational seminars.
There will also be the opportunity for the industry to get a first look at some of the newest technologies to emerge from the market. MAN Trucks will highlight the new MAN TGS WW 6×4 tractor head exclusively designed for the region, which combines traction and long haul operation with MAN technologies to reduce fuel consumption. Grace Construction Products will also introduce the industry to its latest product, Preprufe® Plus–the next generation of pre-applied, fully-bonded waterproofing membranes, which features superior lap adhesion and enables faster installation for unrivalled below ground water protection.
There is a projected $22,604 million worth of construction projects anticipated in the UAE in the coming two years, within the infrastructure sector alone.
