Gargash Enterprises says it is building a new $6.8m (AED25m) Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles service centre in Thouban, Fujairah, which is expected to be operational by early next year.
The announcement was made at an event held in Dibba in Fujairah, where Gargash Enterprises hosted media and customer at an event that included discussion of the company’s future plans and model line up.
The centre will be based at the Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah border, and Thomas Rothe, commercial vehicles manager at Gargash Enterprises, said it would make servicing of vehicles easier for customers, improving mechanical reliability and residual values of Mercedes Benz trucks.
“This centre aims to sustain our market lead in the premium segment for commercial vehicles and enhance higher efficiencies and faster response levels to customers,” he said.
The facility will be equipped with eight workshop bays and 35 parking bays, with diagnostic and servicing technology in-line with Mercedes-Benz worldwide standards.
“One of the primary principles of this service centre will be providing quality and reliable road side services,” explained Rothe.
“As we continue to grow and expand our horizons, we expect to reach further and cater to every need of our clients that have placed their trust in us. The service centre promises the same amount of dedication as seen in any other endeavor by Gargash Enterprises, and ensures constant development. Plans are in place to send the best team to accommodate and satisfy every customer’s need and expand into Northern Emirates with a fully operational service centre early next year.”
Gargash Enterprises is the authorised general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates.
