Although 2013 wasn’t the easiest year for the global quarrying and mining sectors, it is hoped that upcoming infrastructure projects – especially within the Middle East – will serve to drive demand for aggregates.
As such, Powerscreen’s international sales director Colin Clements wants to use CONEXPO as a shop window to grab the attention of those looking to add to their fleets.
“Powerscreen will stand out from the crowd at CONEXPO with three new products: the Premiertrak 300 jaw crusher, the Trakpactor 320SR impact crusher, and the Warrior 2100 screen,” he told PMV. “We will use the show as a platform to launch Powerscreen’s rugged, new-look machines. The updated range retains the traditional Powerscreen green, but adopts a dark-grey colour for the chassis and conveyors.”
However, the CONEXPO catwalk is just the beginning in terms of Powerscreen’s plans for the year. The manufacturer will continue to strengthen its operations in order to meet anticipated demand.
“We have a number of new products to add during 2014,” Clements concluded. “We will develop and expand our global distribution network, and we are also working on a number of new finance schemes for end users.”
