A Saudi Arabian cement firm has placed an order for 32 of Magna Tyres’ 36.00R51 MA09 units.
The massive tyres are designed for use on large dump trucks operating in extreme mining and quarrying environments.
The kingdom-based cement company plans to mount the Magna 36.00R51 MA09 tyres onto two of its giant Thyssenkrupp crushers.
The Magna MA09 boasts a reinforced sidewall that provides protection against tearing. The model’s deep E4 tread pattern offers resistance against cutting, chipping, and shock-related damage, enhancing longevity.
A steel-radial construction has been integrated to maximise load performance and operator comfort. To cope with Saudi Arabia’s high ambient temperatures, the Magna MA09 unit also includes a casing designed to reduced heat build-up inside the tyres.
An initial batch comprising 16 of the gargantuan tyres is already on its way to Saudi Arabia, according to the Netherlands-headquartered off-the-road (OTR) tyre manufacturer.
