The Royal Court of Ras Al Khaimah announced the death of Sheikh Mohammed bin Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the UAE royal family, expressing deep sorrow and condolences.
Sheikh Mohammed was the son of Sheikh Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and a member of the royal family of Ras Al Khaimah.
Sheikh Mohammed, son of Sheikh Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, held a prominent position within the Ras Al Khaimah royal family. His influential role as a business personality and his dedication to spearheading economic reforms greatly contributed to the prosperity of Ras Al Khaimah.
A statement from the Ras Al Khaimah Royal Court said: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, the court of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council, ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, who is forgiven, God willing, mourns Sheikh Muhammad bin Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, son of Sheikh Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who moved next to his Lord Today, we ask God Almighty to bless the deceased with the abundance of his mercy, to dwell him in his spacious gardens, and to inspire his family patience and solace.”
As a leading UAE ambassador he had served as a notable figure for Ras Al Khaimah, often meeting VIPs in the Emirate.
A funeral was held on Sunday May 21, at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Condolences will be accepted in the Hospitality Council in Khuzam for three days.
