Egis, a prominent engineering and operations consultancy firm, has successfully secured a significant contract to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services for implementing the Kuwait Airways Tower project in Qibla, Kuwait.
The project encompasses a 1,416 cubic meter area and involves the construction of a multi-story tower spanning 20 to 30 floors. It will also include a two-level basement for parking, a podium serving as a multi-purpose hall with a commercial complex on the ground floor and two mezzanine levels, as well as additional upper floors.
Kuwait Airways Company (KAC) aims to construct a cutting-edge, environmentally friendly tower that adheres to the latest technical and professional standards and achieves LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
Egis will collaborate closely with KAC throughout the entire project lifecycle, offering comprehensive project management services ranging from pre-design to testing, commissioning, and handover.
Using BIM-based technology and striving for LEED certification, Egis will oversee various aspects of the project, including pre-construction and construction phases, feasibility studies, site analysis, market research, project concept and program, project scheduling, cost and time management, LEED consulting, design coordination, value engineering, quality control, and risk planning. The aim is to ensure the successful completion of this iconic tower.
