Alimak Group, the global vertical access solutions heavyweight for industrial and construction industries, has appointed Jens Holmberg as the new Executive Vice President for its Industrial division effective September 1.

Holmberg began his career in the manufacturing space at another Swedish giant Scania. In his new role at Alimak, he will be part of the Group Leadership Team.

An industry veteran, Holmberg joins Alimak from Sandvik where he most recently held the role as Division President Sandvik Rock Tools, within the Mining and Rock Solutions Business Area. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. 

Welcoming him into the fold, Group CEO Ole Kristian Jødahl said: “Holmberg brings a robust skill set encompassing strategy, leadership, go-to-market planning, operational excellence, M&A and driving impactful business growth in a global arena.”

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Alimak has a major presence in more than 120 countries. It boasts a large installed base of elevators, service lifts, temporary and permanent hoists and platforms and building maintenance units around the world.
