The Wirtgen Group is heading to the World of Concrete 2017 trade exhibition in Las Vegas in February to showcase several new introductions to its product line.
The first highlight of the Wirtgen exhibits is the Wirtgen slipform paver SP64i — one of three models in the new SP60 series, which the manufacturer calls a new benchmark for perfection in concrete paving.
With its SP61/SP61i, SP62/SP62i and SP64/SP64i models, Wirtgen has developed a range of slipform pavers that combines the diverse applications of the compact SP500 range with the power of the larger SP90 series.
Wirtgen has equipped the SP60 series with greater engine output. Equipped with Tier 3 engines, the machines have about 20% more power than a SP500 unit.
Thanks to a new hydraulic concept, the SP 60 series provides more versatility in its inset and offset applications. More energy is now available for new equipment options, e.g. trimmers, a large delivery screw for offset applications, or the four swivel arms used to switch the machine from transport to working mode.
Secondly, Wirtgen is presenting the TCM180i for perfect texture and concrete surface protection. The self-propelled curing unit from Wirtgen guarantees the success of concrete paving for working widths of up to 18m.
With new controls, the unit can now be operated intuitively, just like the slipform pavers of the SP90 and SP60 series. Additionally, Wirtgen has enlarged its range of different surface textures. In addition to the established functions of transverse brooming and spraying, longitudinal brooming and spraying — and even the application of a diagonal finish — will be possible in future.
The extremely versatile SP15i and SP25i slipform pavers from Wirtgen will also be present to round off the company’s own-brand exhibits at the trade show.
These multipurpose machines are the specialists when it comes to high quality concrete paving of monolithic profiles in offset application. The offset mold can be positioned flexibly on either side of the machine, within or beyond the chassis. Transport poses no problem due to the machine’s compact design.
Finally, the Kleemann crawler jaw crusher MC110Zi EVO is also on show. The high-performance plant has proved its worth in recent years in recycling and natural stone applications.
Compact dimensions, short set-up times and easy transportability make it ideal for mobile use. With a feed rate of up to 330t/h, the MC110Zi EVO is one of the most high-performing and efficient machines in its class.
The generously sized feeding unit, the continuous feed system (CFS), as well as the level control in the crusher guarantee optimal utilisation without interruptions.
Productivity is increased by primary screening, with an independent double deck pre-screen filter with oscillating movements to keep fines out of the crusher, reducing wear and ensures a higher quality product.
The diesel-direct drive unit also achieves lower fuel consumption than comparable jaw crushers.
