JCB Power Products signed a US $100,000 deal with UAE equipment hire company Al Mutawa General Transport at the Big 5 PMV show, last week.
The deal will see JCB provide nine JCB LT9 lighting towers – a new product that provides temporary, portable lighting solutions for all types of construction projects.
“It’s a good start and we hope this will be a platform leading to significant sales across the region over the next 12 months as the market recovers,” said JCB’s export sales manager for the Middle East, Faizal Hamze.
JCB’s ‘dancing diggers’ were amongst the biggest attractions at the Big 5 PMV show.
“The Big 5 PMV has been an excellent opportunity to strengthen the JCB brand in the Middle East. The response we have got from the JCB Dancing Digger display has been really positive and this has been an ideal launch for the show in this region,” said JCB district sales manager for the Middle East, Paul Murray.
