JLG has inked a distribution contract with Qatar-headquartered Rumaillah Motors.
Under the terms of the deal, Rumaillah Motors, part of Rumaillah Group, will supply JLG’s entire range of aerial access equipment, including telehandlers, to the Qatari market.
The distributor, which operates out of Qatar’s Salwa Industrial Area, will also provide JLG customers with aftersales support and familiarisation training accredited by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).
Commenting on the distribution deal, Rauf Malik, general manager of Rumaillah Motors, said: “This partnership will further contribute towards safely working at heights within the state of Qatar.
“As this segment is evolving, our industry is exploring the benefits of such machinery in projects. We believe this segment [will] continue to develop, particularly as the buildings move [higher] above the ground,” he added.
Rumaillah Motors operates a fleet of 20 product support units, each of which is equipped with diagnostic tools and manned by trained service personnel.
The distributor also supplies Genie- and Teupen-branded aerial access equipment in Qatar.
