Vögele will launch 11 new products at Bauma in Munich, among them two new “dash 3” pavers – the Super 1900-3 and 2100-3.
With a focus on efficiency, the machines feature a splitter gearbox, and when the when the paver is stationary, all hydraulic pumps for traction, conveyors and augers as well as compacting systems are automatically disengaged, reducing fuel consumption.
A bypass circuit allows the hydraulic oil to reach its optimum operating temperature very quickly. This in turn permits rapid, fuel-saving operation of the paver. If the oil temperature rises above the optimum level of 50 – 70 °C, a bypass diverts the oil through the cooler assembly
Furthermore, the speed of the variable-speed fan automatically adjusts in response to engine load and ambient temperature, as well as the temperature of the oil and cooling water.
Vögele has also developed its “PaveDock Assistant” for their dash 3 generation of pavers, which used signal lights on the hard top to improve communication between the paver operator and the driver of the feed vehicle.
The Super 1900-3 has a maximum pave width of 11m, a laydown rate of up to 900 tonnes/hour.
The dash 3 pavers feature engines compliant with current European emission standards.
