Saudi Arabian crane rental company Al Areedh has added eight Grove GMK4100L all-terrain cranes to its fleet, with the units delivered across 2012.
The 100t capacity ATC is a long-boomed version of the popular Grove GMK4100. Al Areedh managing director, Fahad Al Areedh, said that with a boom length of 60 metres, the crane has been a hit among customers, and a highly versatile tool.
“Since the first five cranes arrived, they have been working almost non-stop,” he said.
“Many projects require a powerful but compact crane that has the reach to perform lifts over larger radius. The GMK4100L is ideal and has the off-road capabilities to match. We regularly update our fleet and want to offer customers the best equipment in the market. We are delighted to add an additional eight units to our fleet, and we are sure they will be busy.”
The delivery of eight GMK4100Ls takes the total number of in its fleet to 13. The cranes are present at Al Areedh’s five facilities: Riyadh – where it is headquartered – Damman, Jubail, Makkah and Yanbu, and can be deployed in these regions at short notice.
Al Areedh is one of the largest crane rental companies in the Middle East, with a rental fleet of approximately 600 units. It is also the agent for Sany mobile cranes.
