EvoQuip has introduced its first product to the market.

The Cobra 230 impact crusher has been designed to handle construction, demolition, asphalt recycling, quarrying, and contract crushing applications.

The EvoQuip brand was launched by parent group, Terex Corporation, during CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 in March.

The firm’s products will be manufactured by Terex-owned factories in Northern Ireland, with additional support and services provided by the group’s North American facilities.

Commenting on the manufacturer’s first model launch, Matt Dickson, product line director at EvoQuip, said: “The Cobra 230 impact crusher is a machine that provides class-leading productivity, unmatched versatility, and excellent fuel efficiency.

“The quick setup times, simple intuitive operation, and ease of transport make this machine an ideal solution for all applications.”

The compact model has already been trialled by Northern Ireland-headquartered J & V Construction. Gerd McCann, the contractor’s director, said: “The EvoQuip Cobra 230 has managed to surpass our expectations, handling a mix of difficult rock and heavy-duty recycled concrete with ease, and turning it into products we have been able to reuse on our construction sites.”

The impact crusher has been designed to offer rapid setup times, optimal material flow, fuel efficiency, and simple serviceability, according to EvoQuip.

The Cobra 230’s compact footprint means that some variants can be transported using agricultural trailers.
