Al-Bahar has announced plans to showcase the latest cost-efficient Caterpillar technologies for the oil and gas sector at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference 2016 (ADIPEC 2016).
As an authorised dealer of Cat Power Solutions, Al-Bahar will focus on technologies that can drive cost efficiency and optimise operations for the Middle East’s oil and gas outfits.
In collaboration with Caterpillar, Al-Bahar will use ADIPEC 2016 to showcase the benefits of Cat Connect through its theme for this year’s exhibition: Connecting All Dots.
The Cat Connect suite of technologies allow end users to track the location of their assets, maintain utilisation, monitor and manage fuel consumption, identify requirements, schedule maintenance, and maximise uptime.
Mohamed El Kaddour, Al-Bahar’s general manager of energy and transportation, commented: “ADIPEC 2016 discusses regional and international opportunities in a rapidly changing and dynamic market, including MENA [Middle East and North Africa].
“Our objective is to exhibit with quality, inform customers, and leverage the show space to reinforce existing customer partnerships and develop new relationships with target key customers.
“Using our presence as a market leader in all oil-and-gas field segments, we hope to educate visitors on Caterpillar integrated solutions and Al-Bahar dealer capabilities to support their businesses.”
Al-Bahar and Caterpillar will use ADIPEC to host live demonstrations of Cat Connect technologies with real-time data. Experts from both companies will be on hand throughout the show to offer attendees first-hand experience of the advantages that these tools provide.
Christopher Berrie, sales TM-Middle East for Caterpillar, said: “We have several key focus areas, one of which [is] gas field development. Together with Al-Bahar and our gas treatment partner, GTUIT, we are showcasing onsite solutions to gas treatment [professionals] harnessing associated gas and utilising it through power generation for a variety of applications, such as compression, well service, drilling, and production.
“Utilising associated gas provides operators [with] considerable cost savings, while also reducing the need to flare gas,” he added.
ADIPEC 2016 will take place at the UAE’s Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from 7-10 November, 2016.
