Doosan Portable Power’s product line-up for INTERMAT Paris 2015 will include two new generators, and both Stage IIIA and Stage IV portable compressors.
To supplement its latest range of generators, Doosan will introduce the G40-IIIA and G60-IIIA models, which deliver 40kVA and 60kVA of prime power, respectively. The gensets will share a common design with the larger G80-IIIA-to-G200-IIIA models launched by the firm over the last two years.
“The Yanmar-powered G40-IIIA and John Deere-powered G60-IIIA generators will both be available with electronic speed regulation (optional on the G60-IIIA model), providing – in addition to stability and better load takeover capabilities – [an optional] flexible dual frequency 50/60Hz working mode,” revealed the manufacturer.
Both models will be fitted with optimised powertrains, featuring a combination of Stage IIIA engines and Leroy Somer AREP alternators. This configuration will make the G40-IIIA and G60IIIA models suitable for a wide range of rental and temporary power applications, according to their designers.
In addition to its latest generators, Doosan will introduce both Stage IIIA and Stage IV portable compressors at the French trade show.
The 7/53 36kW Stage IIIA compressor will be brought in to replace the 7/51 model. The unit has been redesigned so that it can retain its Stage IIIA status without the need to transition to Stage IIIB regulations. New features include forklift slots and a bunded-base option.
Doosan also plans to unveil the 12/154 and 12/254 Stage IV-compliant portable compressors. The former will be powered by a Cummins QSB6.7, six-cylinder engine, and will replace the 12/150 model. The 12/154 also meets Stage IV regulations without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
The 12/254 also meets Stage IV regulations without the need for a DPF, and boasts a 247kW Cummins QSL9 diesel engine. The unit’s full-colour digital display includes electronic manuals and a WiFi interface for real-time data streaming. The compressor features a 110% bunded base, central drains, and forklift slots as standard.
Finally, Doosan will introduce its 7/125-10/110 Stage IIIB portable compressor, with ‘dual-mode’ feature as standard. This functionality will allow users to switch between two pressure and flow ratings using just one machine, saving the need to have multiple units on hand.
INTERMAT Paris 2015 will take place at the Paris-Nord Villepinte – France from 20-25 April. For a comprehensive preview of the event, check out the April 2015 issue of PMV Middle East.
