Singapore crane hire company Moh Seng Cranes has taken delivery of the first Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane in Southeast Asia for its first challenging job.

An experienced veteran in the Singapore crane hire market for many years and well known for its expertise, Moh Seng Cranes was awarded the contract to install generator sets, each weighing 21 tons, on top of an industrial building at a working radius of 70 meters.

Jovan Yap, managing director of Moh Seng Cranes, said: “The LTM 1750-9.1 was chosen for its excellent hoisting capabilities as well as versatility in site mobility where space restrictions can be especially challenging.”

In order to reach the long working radius required, a 66.5m luffing jib was installed in a TYVEN configuration with a Y-guying system and a telescopic boom extension to perform most of the lifts.

“Liebherr machines have always worked very well for us and have been very reliable. This 750-ton crane will allow us to expand the number of heavy hoisting projects we can complete”, said Yap on the reasons for purchasing the Liebherr 750-ton mobile crane.
