The annual Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East Corporation FZE (HMEC) service mechanic competition held in June 2018 attracted the participation of six Hitachi dealers from the region – Al Fairuz, ASC, ENKA, MECET, Rock Plant and TARA. The contestants were evaluated on the basis of their technical writing knowlege, skills on actual machine and reporting.Â
Sumesh MC, representing Hitachi’s Oman dealer Al Fairuz Trading & Contracting Company emerged as the winner of the 2018 competition, followed by ASC and Rock Plant in second and third places, respectively.
The winner Sumesh MC will travel to Japan in September 2018 to participate in the global service mechanic competition and will represent HMEC at
the event.
