Global asset management and disposition company, Ritchie Bros., is gearing up for its highly anticipated summer 2024 auction on June 4-5.

According to Ritchie Bros., this auction promises a vast and diverse selection of over 1,100 used and unused heavy equipment items, all sold to the highest bidder at unreserved prices. Bidding begins a week earlier, on May 29, which also marks the start date for personal inspections.

The auction also features a significant number of Komatsu HD787-7 rock trucks and a vast array of excavators, with over 100 mini, midi and hydraulic excavators from premium brands like Cat and Komatsu.

Additionally, the upcoming auction features a massive variety of forklifts, said Ritchie Bros. informing that there are over 100 items available in this auction of wide-ranging brands, types and tonnage.

Shirin Bazargan, Regional Operations Manager at Ritchie Bros., said the auction will also feature many unused and low hour items.

“Bidders will have access to high-quality used equipment as well as pristine, unused items at unreserved prices. This auction is a fantastic opportunity for fleet managers and operators to secure a bargain. Among the unused items are a variety of excavators, motor graders, backhoe and wheel loaders, trailers, gen-sets and a great variety of forklifts,” Bazargan.

Starting May 29, registered bidders can enter the Jebel Ali Free Zone through Gates 7 and 8 without needing a gate pass. The auctioneer added that for those who are unable to visit Ritchie Bros.’ yard in person, the website offers comprehensive reports, videos and detailed photos for each lot to help customers make informed decisions.

Once bidding opens, users of Ritchie Bros.’ online auction platform will be able to register their interest in items, make an offer and create a ‘watchlist’ so they can track bids and activity on their selected items, ensuring they don’t miss the opportunity to place a more competitive bid.
