Kanoo Machinery will introduce a new Massey Ferguson tractor to the Emirates at AgraME 2015.

As the authorised Massey Ferguson dealer for the UAE, Kanoo will use the Dubai event to showcase Massey Ferguson’s MF 4708 next week.

The dealer claims that the machine is ideally suited to the UAE’s growing agricultural sector, as well as applications within the fields of aviation, maritime and ports, and haulage.

“AgraME is the ideal platform for industry players to exhibit and promote their latest product and service innovations to the GCC market,” said Deon Klerck, divisional manager for Kanoo in Abu Dhabi.

“Agriculture is becoming an increasingly sophisticated practice in the UAE, and we are proud to offer the range of Massey Ferguson solutions to support this development,” he added.

Massey Ferguson’s MF 4708 Global Series tractor features a 4.4-litre, 82 hp turbocharged engine which produces 342 Nm torque; an eight-speed transmission system with reverse shuttle; a single-speed 540 rpm independent power take-off (PTO); a folding rollover protection system (ROPS) and sun canopy; and a gear-driven open-centre hydraulics system.

Commenting on Kanoo’s plans for AgraME 2015, James McSorley, the dealer’s regional sales manager for Abu Dhabi, said: “For the most part, Kanoo Machinery will be launching its MF 4708 tractor, Massey Ferguson’s latest Global Series designed to offer reliable and dependable operations to meet the diverse farming needs of modern agriculture today.

“While these tractors are used in agricultural applications, they are also often put to work in municipal and industrial applications such as airports, seaports, and haulage operations,” he explained.

AgraME 2015 will host more than 250 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, and will feature the latest technologies from the agriculture, poultry, aquaculture, and horticulture industries. The event will take place from 16-18 March 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre in the UAE.
