Cundall boosts MENA growth trajectory with key leadership promotions

Cundall, an international engineering consultancy, has revamped its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) leadership team, showcasing their strong commitment to regional expansion.

The consultancy announced that Lee French, who was previously serving as Partner & Operations Director, has been promoted to the position of Partner & Managing Director MENA.

With a remarkable 22-year tenure at Cundall, Lee has played a crucial role in driving the company’s business forward in the region and achieving noteworthy successes.

As per the company, Lee is a civil engineer and chartered construction manager, and is recognised as one of the key leaders for the company’s operations in the Middle East. He is also a member of the International Management Board for Europe & MENA and is actively involved in promoting Zero Carbon Design, spearheading sustainable practices across the region.

Scott McKeever, currently holding the role of MENA head of building services, has been promoted to Country Director – UAE while retaining his existing responsibilities.

Scott has been instrumental in the recent growth and achievements of Cundall’s regional building services team. In his new position, he will concentrate on further developing and expanding the company’s business in the UAE.

Faiyad Peterson has been appointed as the Country Director–KSA, recognizing his valuable contributions to the business and office setup since rejoining Cundall in 2022.

Faiyad will lead the company’s expansion in Saudi Arabia, enhancing its presence and influence in the region. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering.

Olga Litkovets has been promoted to the role of Global Director of Business Development and Marketing. Throughout her six-year tenure at Cundall, Olga has consistently displayed a strong dedication to the business and has played a pivotal role in driving client and brand success.

She also chairs Cundall’s EMENA board, driving the strategic focus and growth of the region. In her new position, Olga will focus on enhancing the marketing and client care strategies for the global business while continuing to contribute to the growth of the MENA region.

Richard Stratton, Partner & Managing Director of EMENA, expressed his enthusiasm about these promotions and the expanded capabilities they bring to the senior regional leadership team, including Gary Dodds, the Country Director for Qatar. He acknowledged the exceptional talent of these individuals, their ability to inspire and lead teams, and anticipated the opportunities they will generate.

This transition also allows him to concentrate more on his broader global business management responsibilities, facilitating the strategic growth of Cundall’s global practice and reinforcing the company’s remarkable brand.
