Bridgestone Middle East has inaugurated its first EV charging station supplied by ABB at its flagship store in Jebel Ali as a complimentary and valued-added services to its customers.

Having more electric vehicle charging stations available for EV users are crucial to the success of sustainable transport as it will encourage more car owners to drive EVs when there is easy access to charging stations. In Dubai, Bridgestone follows the footsteps of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Tesla, which have installed EV charging stations in their networks offering free services to their customers. The trend has been boosting the interest of vehicle owners to consider and shift to using EVs.
