Hypermotion Dubai 2021 to address transformation of transport, logistics and mobility sectors

Hypermotion Dubai, the German-originated exhibition addressing the transformation and future of the transport, logistics and mobility sectors through disruption, decarbonisation and digitalisation, will host more than 100 brands at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) from 2-4 November 2021.

Hypermotion Dubai will take place with global supply chain and logistics solutions provider DP World as the sole global partner.

Solving global transport, mobility and logistics challenges

Tapping into the world’s leading data scientists, experts will be invited to Asyad’s Global Logistics Hackathon organised by Hypermotion Dubai in partnership with Asyad – Oman’s global integrated logistics solutions group.

The two-day Hackathon will invite leading data scientists to solve critical problems in the mobility, logistics and transport sectors, accompanied by a full-day of workshops and a nine-hour session where teams divide up to solve the challenge.

Asyad with the collaboration of Messe Frankfurt Middle East have also organized and developed an extensive logistics startup programme to help promote and facilitate burgeoning new companies, entrepreneurs and ideas. The programme will encompass six key growth pillars for mobility and transport logistics, namely artificial intelligence, cyber security, robotics, logistics, smart mobility and drones.

The programme will host a number of initiatives, including a pitch competition to an audience of regional and international investors, networking events with industry leaders, and a dedicated mentorship clinic to address challenges and opportunities for startups.

Global logistics and transport content streams

Hypermotion Dubai is expected to attract high-level C-suite participation from international, regional and local government entities and private organisations across the logistics, mobility, infrastructure and transport ecosystems.

Through the event’s three content streams – Hypermotion Labs, Smart Mobility Conference and Scalex (co-hosted with Materials Handling Middle East) – disruptive thinkers from around the world will gather to share pioneering ideas and concepts set to shape the future of mobility and transport.

Thought leaders confirmed to take the Hypermotion Dubai stage include Abdullah Al Shamsi, senior director of Future of Things, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects; Prof. Carlo Ratti, director, Senseable City Lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and Josh Giegel, CEO and co-founder, Virgin Hyperloop.
