UAE-based Rental Solutions & Services (RSS) has bought more than 400 power generators from JCB Power Products.
The order includes generators with power outputs ranging from 60kVA up to 1MW.
The company’s range of rental specification (RS) generators launched in 2017 include the G60RS, G125RS, G200RS, G300RS, G500RS and the new G1000RS model, with power outputs of 1MW and housed in robust rental-specific containers.
The RS range of generators incorporates JCB’s LiveLink telematics system as standard on all models above 60kVA.
Currently, RSS has over 250,000 running hours on the JCB LiveLink for Power telematics, which monitors live generator performance and provides remote diagnostics.
Generators in the RSS fleet are powered by Stage IIIA compliant engines to meet stringent rental emissions requirements in the Middle East.
For increased safety, the new models include spark arrestors and Chalwyn valves to help protect the engines, and to increase deployment time, the range is fitted with plug and play socket panels to allow the generators to be used across a number of industries.
Adam Holland, managing director, JCB Power Products, said: “This major deal is a fantastic start to the year for JCB Power Products and a brilliant testament of the quality and specification of the JCB rental generator range. We are thrilled to receive a second order from RSS, a rental company which continues to go from strength to strength.”
Garry McMahon, operations director, RSS Group, said: “Following the purchase of a range of JCB rental generators last year, the business has developed dramatically over the last 12 months.
“We have ambitious plans to continue to maximise on the rental opportunity across the Middle East and JCB’s rental generator range plays a pivotal role in growing our sales coverage with the most versatile and flexible solutions to fit the Middle East rental market.”
