Johnson Arabia has added a 150t Grove GMK 5150L all-terrain crane to its rental fleet. The mobile crane and aerial work platform hire company previously acquired a unit of the GMK 5150L model in 2020 along with Grove rough-terrain cranes for oil and gas projects. The all-terrain cranes in Johnson Arabia’s fleet offer lifting capacities ranging from 30 to 700 tonnes.
The Grove GMK 5050L provides a lifting capacity of 11.8 t with 60 m boom. The boom can be further extended with a 17.8 m swingaway and one 8 m boom extension and / or one 8 m jib insert to a maximum length of 33,8 m with up to 50° offset. Counterweight configurations enable setup from 1 t counterweight to taxi configurations of 12t to 16,5t per axle. T
The single engine concept on the GMK5150L with the latest EUROMOT 4/Tier 4 final engine
reduces fuel consumption to a minimum. Using the ECO mode, the GMK5150L is the most fuel efficient crane in its class.
