Sany is currently the world’s largest concrete machinery manufacturer and China’s largest construction equipment manufacturer. This also makes it one of the top construction equipment manufacturers worldwide.
Currently Sany has built 25 manufacturing bases, six sales regions, and over 100 offices with more than 400 agents and 8,000 suppliers worldwide. In China, Sany has established six industry parks in Beijing, Changsha, Shanghai, Shenyang, Kunshan and Urumchi. With global R&D centres and manufacturing bases in the US, Germany, India and Brazil, SANY’s products are exported to 150 countries and regions.
Sany’s leadership in the excavator industry comes from its extensive investment in R&D and manufacturing. The company’s Lingang Industry Park in Shanghai has the world’s largest excavator assembly-line production. It’s five other manufacturing facilities in China produce the remaining construction, mining and material handling equipment.
Sany reported the performance in the company’s history at the end of 2018. Sany achieved an annual sales revenue of $8.3 billion in 2018, up 45.61% compared to 2017. Overseas sales revenue reached $2 billion, up 17.29%; excavator sales revenue reached $2.8 billion, up 40.8%; and concrete machinery sales revenue reached $2.5 billion, up 34.64% compared to 2017.
