SAF-Holland, a merger between two companies – SAF in Europe and Holland in the USA in 2006 – is a global commercial vehicle supplier and manufacturer of chassis-related systems and components for trailers and semi-trailers as well as for trucks and buses.
The product range comprises axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, kingpins, and landing gear and is marketed under the brands SAF, Holland, Neway, KLL, Corpco, V.Orlandi and York.
SAF-Holland sells its products to original equipment manufacturers on six continents and works closely with fleet operators and trucking companies. Through its own parts distribution centres and an international sales and service network of approximately 10,000 parts and service stations, SAF-Holland also sells spare parts to end customers and service centres.
SAF-Holland increased its sales by 14.2% in the 2018 financial year and reached a new record $1.48 billion. The EMEA region increased sales by 7.7% to $750 million.
This year, SAF-Holland and LOHR Industrie entered into a 10-year strategic partnership to advance the development of electric trailer axles. The company also concluded the largest single order in its history from Kögel Trailer.
