Manitowoc produces Grove mobile cranes, Potain tower cranes as well as its eponymous Manitowoc crawler cranes. The company has operated in the Middle East for over 50 years and has around a dozen dealer representatives across the region and a local headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The facility includes a training center that conducts an average of 80 course weeks throughout the year, with a full-time technical training manager plus support from the Manitowoc training centers in Germany, France and the U.S.
Over the past year the company has introduced a number of new models into the Middle East, the most significant of which has been the arrival of two new Grove rough-terrain models from its factory in Niella Tanaro, Italy. The two new models from the Italian factory are the GRT880 and GRT8100, with the GRT655 soon to join them. In addition, the RT530E-2 and RT550E models are also built at the
Manitowoc factory in Italy. Purchasing Grove rough-terrain cranes from Italy offers several advantages for Middle East customers, including lower costs and faster delivery times.
Potain tower cranes are another popular choice in the Middle East, particularly those built at the Manitowoc factory in Zhangjiagang, China. These can be seen on job sites across the region, including more than 35 machines on the El Alamein project in Egypt.
