Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA, which represents FUSO and Mercedes-Benz Trucks, steers the business activities of a network of more than 30 general distributors in the MENA region.
Several new products and innovations were launched recently, including the latest generation of the FUSO Canter Euro 5 model with safety systems such as two airbags for driver and co-driver.
Safety is also in the DNA of Mercedes-Benz Trucks offering a list of optional safety systems to its users, such as the Active Brake Assist 5 or the MirrorCam. In parallel, the new generation Zetros continues the legacy of bonnet type trucks in the Middle East and North Africa, now with different weight and wheel configurations.
As the only HDT manufacturer in the MENA region to have a dedicated testing facility for Mercedes-Benz Trucks, its products are tailor-made to the operating conditions of this region. The Daimler Training Center is equipped to host training activities on site, with several online initiatives launched last year that accelerated the digital transformation from a traditional classroom to virtual training.
