Putzmeister manufactures machines for pumping, distributing and placing concrete, mortar and high-density solids, and for preparing, temporarily storing, processing and transporting these materials. The company specialises in the handling of different materials like concrete or mortar and in the conveying of a variety of solids like sewage sludge, coal sludge or mining tailings. Putzmeister Middle East was established in 2008 in the UAE. Currently, the company has nine dealers in the Middle East and six dealers in North Africa.
The manufacturer had a successful 2020 in the Middle East, and the company’s actual sales exceeded the forecast sales for the year. Product categories that performed exceptionally well for Putzmeister in 2020 include truck-mounted concrete pumps and transit mixers.
Putzmeister launched the Machine Cockpit, an online dashboard providing real-time information to owners and operators of Putzmeister machinery. Features of the Machine Cockpit include remote diagnosis to identify machine faults, geo-fencing, real-time comparison of fleet key figures such as fuel consumption, pumped quantity, working hours and idle percentage.
