Hiab, part of Cargotec, has renewed its distribution agreement with Thor Middle East, which has recently been acquired by Al Shirawi Equipment Co (Oasis Investment Group).
Thor Middle East is the regional importer and distributor for Hiab, responsible for sales, parts, service support for countries in the GCC.
With the addition of Thor Middle East, Al Shirawi aims to become a one-stop solution and service provider to the waste management, construction and transportation sectors.
Thor Middle East will continue to operate as an independent company and being part of the large Al Shirawi group of companies will give Hiab loader cranes, Multilift demountables, Zepro tail lifts, Jonsered recycling cranes and Loglift forestry cranes the deserved visibility and support across the Middle East and looks forward to further growth of market share and volume.
