MG Motor has announced the appointment of Inter Emirates Motors (IEM), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding, as the brand’s new official distributor in the UAE, in line with the brand’s dealer network expansion.
Effective immediately, this new partnership comes at a time of record sales for the British-born brand across the Middle East. In breaking into the region’s top ten of car manufacturers for the first time in the GCC in 2020, MG registered more customers than ever before.
IEM will launch showrooms in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah in the coming week, with further facilities planned for by the end of June. The retail operation will be backed up by after sales service, including full maintenance support, parts and bodyshops, thanks to significant investment and commitment in the new operation by IEM.
All valid warranties and service contracts for MG cars already on the UAE’s roads are unaffected by the change to a new retail partner. All customer data has been transferred to IEM, ensuring that existing owners continue to enjoy the highest standards of customer service.
