India’s crane rental giant Sanghvi Movers Limited (SML) has expanded its crane fleet with the addition of eight Sany SCC7500A 750-tonne capacity crawler cranes.

The formal handover of the cranes was made at an event held at The Ritz Carlton, Pune, where senior executives from Sany India and SML were present. According to SML, with the delivery of the cranes, the company is now positioned as the largest hoisting solutions provider in India, with a fleet that comprises 45 Sany crawler cranes, truck cranes and all-terrain cranes.

Deepak Garg, Managing Director, Sany India & South Asia, expressed gratitude for the long-standing association with SML and emphasised Sany’s commitment to delivering “top-quality equipment that ensures exceptional safety, reliability and durability under challenging working conditions”. He looked forward to further strengthening their partnership to drive innovation and contribute to India’s infrastructure growth.

Earlier crane deliveries by Sany

Earlier in 2022, Sany delivered four units of the SCC8000A, India’s largest crawler crane of 800 tonnes, to SML.

The SCC7500A is a 750-tonne lifting capacity crawler crane with a maximum lifting moment of 10,000 tonne-metres, designed to excel in wind energy and non-wind energy applications, such as in the cement sector, petro-chemicals & refinery, steel plants and power plants.

It has a maximum boom length of 108m, a maximum luffing jib combination of 96m + 96m, and is powered by a Cummins engine with a rated power of 447kW/1800rpm. The crane can be configured with various boom combinations, depending on the application requirements.

One of the new cranes has been deployed at a wind power project in Jamnagar, Gujarat, contributing to the green, clean and sustainable development of India.
