LeasePlan Emirates has revealed that it is to launch at least two products before the end of 2014.

Speaking to PMV Middle East, general manager Ajay Narain explained that the Abu Dhabi-headquartered fleet management and finance firm will introduce ‘EmployeePlan’ and ‘FlexiPlan’ products during the second half of 2014. Both options represent unexplored areas for LeasePlan Emirates.

“[EmployeePlan] will allow us to cater directly to our clients’ employees,” said Narain.

“We will offer similar packages to those that we currently provide to our corporate clients. In turn, employees will be able to choose any make and model of car, providing that it complies with their employer’s car policy, of course. Some companies, for instance, have their own internal policies as to the company car that an employee can choose,” he explained.

Industrial fleet product, FlexiPlan, meanwhile, will introduce added flexibility to the lease durations offered by Narain and his colleagues.

“LeasePlan Emirates will endeavour to meet the differing durational requirements of its clients’ fleets,” he said, in reference to the upcoming product.

“This could entail the leasing of a car for three months up to a period of two years. Currently, as a long-term operational leasing company, this is not an option. However, we’d like to become a one-stop shop for our customers,” concluded Narain.

LeasePlan Emirates will launch both products during the second half of 2014.
