Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new range of half-inch metal impact wrenches.
The CP7736 models are able to deliver 900Nm of torque, 20% more than their predecessors.
The wrenches have been designed to offer extra power and durability for tyre-changing and general mechanical applications, according to the US equipment manufacturer.
Commenting on the launch, Luis Clement, Chicago Pneumatic’s vice president for tools, said: “We are redesigning our metal impact wrench line to provide the excellent ergonomics, high quality, and reliable performance that our users have come to expect from our brand. These new versions have seen an increase in the power offered to the user, they are more comfortable, and still customers can enjoy our new CP7736 series at a very cost-effective price.”
Two tools comprise the range: the CP7736 half-inch impact wrench and the CP7736-2, which includes a two-inch long anvil attachment.
The impact wrench features a twin-hammer mechanism, which provides a working torque of 69Nm to 770Nm and a maximum torque of 900Nm. It boasts three power settings in forward and full power in reverse, offering greater control for mechanics. It is also fitted with a steel motor and aluminium housing to boost durability.
The CP7736 line is available with a range of accessories, including impact-socket sets and filter regulators.
