ADNOC Distribution has opened its largest service station to date.

Motor World is a 51,000m2 facility located in the Shamkha area of Abu Dhabi. The service station features nine islands that have been designated for different types of fuel.

Ultimately, Motor World will be used to provide 24/7 service to Abu Dhabi’s second-hand vehicle market, according to ADNOC Distribution.

Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, acting chief executive officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: “We are very proud to announce the opening of Motor World, the largest service station within our network, during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

“This opening comes as a new step in our expansion plan in various regions of the UAE, and a testament to the success of the joint efforts made by ADNOC Distribution and its partners in order to support the efforts of the Government of Abu Dhabi to implement its urban plan and Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.”

Of Motor World’s nine islands, six will be used to fill vehicles with E-Plus 90, Special 95, and Super 98. Two islands will be dedicated to the provision of green diesel, and one has been set aside to support natural gas vehicles.

The service station also offers one manual lane and two automated lanes for car was services, 10 lanes for lube changes, and facilities for the provision liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.

ADNOC Distribution’s future implementation plan for Motor World includes the completion of necessary requirements to operate a fully integrated centre for vehicle inspection and licensing, comprising four inspection lanes. In addition, the service station will feature licensing offices, insurance, and printing facilities.

“At ADNOC Distribution, we are committed to keeping up with the economic and urban growth movement being witnessed in the UAE, and we are keen to meet the great demand for our services and products,” said Al Rashdi.

“Therefore, we have studied the location of the service station to identify the size and type of services that will meet the needs and aspirations of the operators of motor showrooms and customers of the city,” he concluded.
